Josie Gray

Senior Development Officer

Josie Gray, Senior Development Officer, builds long-term relationships with individuals, foundations and corporations who share the Institute’s goals and values and who support its programs with philanthropic gifts and partnerships. A seasoned fundraising professional, she has fifteen years of experience with a variety of not for profit organizations including the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science, Environmental Defense Fund, New School University and Landmark College. Josie began her career as an Americorps-VISTA National Service Volunteer.

Josie also is an active volunteer and board member of the New York – New Jersey Trail Conference and a steering committee member of Friends of Fahnestock and Hudson Highlands State Park.

Josie received a bachelor’s degree from Bard College and a professional certificate in Conservation Biology from the Center for Environmental Research and Conservation at Columbia University.  She also pursued graduate study at Milano: The New School for Management and Urban Policy.
